Follow Friday: Jamie Mitcham and Conor McNulty

May 8, 2009

LAF note: Last Friday, I chose 7 men and women, plus honorable mentions, that make my Twitter experience much more valuable. I have decided that every Friday, I will pick 1 of each.

Wonder Woman of the Week:  Jamie Mitcham, @jamiemitcham

Jamie is hands down one of the sweetest girls I know. She currently interns with the Casady School in Oklahoma City, but has been offered a job in the PR industry. She will graduate from OK State this weekend. The type of PR students that impress me are the ones that respond quickly, as questions, and demonstrate a drive to contribute to the field.  Her eagerness to learn will only add to her dedication in this field, and I cant wait to see what she has to contribute. She really has a mix of personal and professional down pat – plus I’m never bored when we converse. A+ in my book.

Superman of the Week: Conor McNulty, @mcnulty6

I first met Conor at Great Ideas 2009 in Miami, FL. Conor is a fellow student in the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Leadership Academy, Class of 2010. The Leadership Academy is a two year program for emerging leaders who want to gain leadership techniques and experience. The Academy picks 25 students out of a pool of applications.

Conor currently works as the Recruitment & Retention Administrator at the California Dental Association. He is also a dad to quadruplets, and Conor and his wife actively participate in March of Dimes. Conor is smart, savvy, and really knows his stuff – he’s always posting interesting articles, posing quesitons and engaging those around him. I even forgave him for being a Barca fan.
